    Nuggets rookie forward Kenneth Faried was expected to start Monday night's game against the Houston Rockets as the team dealt with the absence of four rotation players. Fellow rookie Julyan Stone also was tabbed to start for the Nuggets, who looked to end a two-game losing streak.

    The Nuggets lost starting center Timofey Mozgov to a sprained ankle in the third quarter and eventually fell to the Los Angeles Lakers 93-89 Friday night at Pepsi Center. Al Harrington led Denver with 24 points but his game-winning three-point attempt rimmed out in the finals seconds.
  • Nuggets point guard Miller about to become Andre 1000
    Nearly 13 years after being drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers, Nuggets point guard Andre Miller is preparing to play his 1,000th career regular-season game. Miller will hit the milestone Thursday night when Denver plays against the Los Angeles Clippers at Staples Center.
